Just Sharing
This message is a little out of the ordinary, but if we want our ministry to
prosper we have to be led by God and allow the Holy Spirit to move freely. So
this week, I have been instructed to just share with our partners what happened
to me and Veronica this weekend.
Friday night/Saturday morning, I was up until 1:45 a.m. working on the
redesign of the web page. When I finally got to bed I was really tired, so I
asked the Lord if I could just crawl into bed and say a short prayer there. To
my request He responded, "You can, but I want you to bow down in reverence
tomorrow." I consented and then quickly fell on off to sleep.
That night, I had a dream which was really moving. I dreamed Veronica and I
were in this house, and another couple was there as well. After observing the
way we interacted with one another, the wife said to her husband, "I want
what they have." So we began to minister to them through Bible study. As I
proceeded to minister to the husband regarding his role, the anointing of God
fell so heavy upon that place that other people began to flood into the house,
open their Bibles and just worship God.
A few minutes later in the dream the Lord delivered a prophetic word through
me. After flowing in the prophetic, I began to preach. As I began to preach my
voice got deeper and deeper and deeper. At that point, I knew something was
wrong, so I began to cry out over and over again, "Jesus,"
"Jesus," "Jesus." Soon after this rebuke of the enemy, the
voice began to change and ended up being that of another minister, one whom I
admire dearly. I then thought, "Yeah…. I think I’ll stop right
here." So as I spoke, I had this voice, which was not mine, but the voice
of one of God’s anointed soldiers. As I continued to preach, words came out of
my mouth that I could not control. They were not ungodly, but still I couldn’t
control what came out. Why? Because it wasn’t my voice, and if it wasn’t mine
then I could not control it. After that, I put my hands over my mouth and
stopped speaking. Immediately, I woke up, and without delay (4:00 a.m) the Lord
gave me an interpretation of the dream.
Interpretation:
Exposure of Ungodliness — The deep voice was an exposure of ungodliness.
You see, the time has come (or really has already begun) for an overflow of
judgement and an overflow of glory. So whatever you are "hooked up"
to that is not of God, I advise you now — GET UNHOOKED!! Whether it be a
friend, organization or political party, GET UNHOOKED because we are about to
see judgement fall heavily upon the earth.
Also whatever you are doing that’s not Godly, even if it’s in your house
behind closed doors, GET UNHOOKED!! You can step into the glory or step into
the judgment. I really like the way Evangelist Emma McDuffie stated it:
"Don’t let God read your mail!!" That was what happened when the deep
voice came out while I was preaching to the people. In the time of judgement,
the exposure is going to be so clear that everyone (even the church you try to
fool on Sunday morning) is going to be able to "read your mail." One
example is found in Isaiah 14:15-17, where we see what is going to occur during
the exposure of lucifer:
15: Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.
16: They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee,
saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake
kingdoms;
17: That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof;
that opened not the house of his prisoners?
Now I know, that I know, that I know, some may say, "Well Bro. Yon,
that’s your dream. Maybe God’s just trying to tell you that you got to get rid
of some stuff in your life." You know what? You’re absolutely right!! And
I did that morning, around 4:10 a.m.!!! I fell down on my face and worshiped
God the way He wanted me to. Who else deserves this praise and worship!!!
Many of us are looking for manifestations from God, and yet we haven’t even
given Him what He wants — Praise & Worship!! Private Praise & Worship!!
Not that type of worship that Deacon Jones can see and pat you on the back for,
but the type of worship where only God can see you and the devil can envy
you––the type of praise that brings you the deliverance you’ve been waiting
on—-the type of praise that brings you the prosperity you’ve been hoping
for—-the type of praise that brings you the manifestations you’ve been
praying for—-the type of praise that brings you out of the wilderness sooner
than soon — Praise God!!!
I know some of you are going through the wilderness, but get ready because
God’s bringing us out in a massive number. Deliverance is coming soon for the
"next wave" of His Sons and Daughters. For those of you who want to
just complain about being in the wilderness, your complaining is just going to
keep you there longer. It’s time for you to worship God in the secret place so
that He can bring you out Now!!
Confirmation:
Whenever we break out of the normal, we always want confirmation. We always
want that added assurance that, "This is what I’m supposed to do."
Well, if many of you are up on your reading, you will see that we have really
broken out of all of the series we have been in; I have just been flowing where
God has been telling us to flow.
On Saturday morning after the dream and interpretation, I stayed up until
7:00 a.m. studying. While doing so, God gave me the revelation to share the
dream so His people would know what was coming. I can honestly say that at
first I fell into the Mark 7:8 category: "For laying aside the commandment
of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many
other such like things ye do."
I came up with all types of lame reasons: "But Lord, we need to get
back to the series on the Heart." "But Lord, we need to get back to
the series on My Majestic Mind." Then I had to be reminded that Mark 7:13
tells us, or me in this case, that if I hold fast to my traditions (series) I
will "make the word of God of no effect." There I was, hearing from
God, yet wanting to hold fast to my traditions. I had to do what God told me to
do. However, I still needed something to help me get there.
Well, Sunday Veronica and I headed to church, and boy did I get
confirmation. During the worship service all we did was WORSHIP!!! There was a powerful
move of the Holy Spirit in that place. We simply worshiped God. Yes, we fell on
our faces to God, and our pastor fully yielded to the Holy Spirit and didn’t
preach his planned sermon. There was just an abundance of praise and worship.
And during the service, I was healed of a stomach ailment I have been
struggling with for months. No one laid hands on me; no one prayed over me. The
Holy Spirit just healed me during praise and worship because I humbled myself
before God.
All I can tell you is to Praise God!!! I know we say it, but if someone just
told you he/she loved you but only showed it minimally, you would find it quite
difficult to believe that person really loved you with all of his/her heart and
soul. During that early morning study, God showed me in Deuteronomy 30th
chapter that if we obey the Lord God with ALL our heart and soul, He will
restore our fortunes (3rd), restore our families (3rd – 6th),
curse our enemies (7th), make prosperous the works of our hands, our
children, and possessions (9th), make us prosperous (in an
additional portion because it’s mentioned again), and delight in us as He did
our fathers (9th). This is the glory we need to get into. If any of
you have been tithing, praying, testifying — sowing seeds of any kind– this
is the best way to water those seeds and make those manifestations you are
waiting on come to pass.
So my brothers and sisters, I hope my "step out on faith" wasn’t
in vain. I pray that you give God what He rightfully deserves. And as I close,
I leave you with Deuteronomy 30:11-16:
11: For this commandment which I command thee this day, it is not hidden
from thee, neither is it far off.
12: It is not in heaven, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go up for us to
heaven, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it?
13: Neither is it beyond the sea, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go over
the sea for us, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it?
14: But the word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that
thou mayest do it.
15: See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil;
16: In that I command thee this day to love the LORD thy God, to walk in his
ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that
thou mayest live and multiply: and the LORD thy God shall bless thee in the
land whither thou goest to possess it.
Get In The Glory and Out of the Judgement!!!
P.S. – Regarding the voice of the other minister, the Lord was showing me
that although a similar anointing rests upon my life, He didn’t want me to be
that minister. All I ever need to be is the "Eddie" He desires me to
be. The same applies to you. He wants you to walk and live in the glory you
were intended to have and be the best person in Christ that you can possibly
be.
