Made Free

Proverbs 18:21 – Death and life are in the power of the tongue; and they
that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.

Many people feel that they have to "curse you out" to make their
point. But after doing some meditation on this subject I really want to ask you
this, are they cursing you or are they cursing themselves?  In many cases,
I found that they are actually cursing themselves. When someone throws foul
language at you, remember it’s a "spiritual thang."  Their
attempt is to place a spirit of self-doubt upon you and to make you feel
inferior.  However, if you know who you are in Christ and rebuke that
spirit then that spirit is like a letter with a 10-cent stamp on it –
INSUFFICIENT POSTAGE, RETURN TO SENDER.

The purpose of this message is really not to talk about others, but to focus
on ourselves.  No one likes to have filthy words thrown at them, but if we
really think about it we have a tendency to curse ourselves more than having
others curse us.  Our scripture tells us, "Death and life are in the
power of the tongue."   Basically, you live and die by words.
The scripture goes on to say, "And they that love it shall eat the fruit
thereof."

Here’s a prime example.  Have you ever said you couldn’t do something
and then failed?  Have you ever met a person who was always talking about
how bad they felt and then got sick?  Well, when you "call"
sickness on your body, you will eat the fruit of that sickness.  Whenever
you call failure into your life, you will reap the fruit of failure.  One
night I was watching the news and I heard a man who was being screened for
cancer say this, "It’s not an if but a when."  Right then and
there, that man accepted cancer on his body.  Now pay attention to what
I’m saying here or better yet, let me share this with you.   My mother
died battling cancer and my father won a battle from cancer this year, BUT I’LL
REBUKE THAT SPIRIT FROM HELL UNTIL THE LORD COMES FOR US!!!  I’m not going
to let cursed words come from my own mouth and neither should you.

Don’t worry about what your mother, father, sister or brother had.
Rebuke it in the name of Jesus and proclaim this today: "Abundant life is
mine today!!!   I’m a child of the covenant and Jesus said that He came to
give me Abundant life and life in and out of a hospital is not an abundant
life."  Oooohh we’ve got a Savior who can override any lie from hell
and He let’s us know this by telling us in John 14:6, "I am the way, the
truth, and the life."  Yes honey, the facts might say you have an 80%
chance of getting cancer but the TRUTH said, "I came to give you life
abundantly and you have a 100% chance of not getting it. (John 10:10)"

It’s time for us to operate in the win/win category.  We are no longer
waiting on the "sweet by-and-by" to get the fullness of God.  We
are going to live in it now!!!  We’re going to start practicing for heaven
so that we won’t go into "entry-shock" when we get there!!  We
will no longer live in want or lack of any good thing because we will seek the
Lord.  So today we begin to walk in the fullness of the covenant and live by
the TRUTH and not the facts.   And by believing in Christ, our truth, we
receive what He told His sheep in John 8:31 & 32, "If ye continue in
MY WORD (not curses), then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the
truth, and the truth shall make you free."
