Restored Glory Christian Center, RGCC, is a thriving, community-focused church, located in the heart of the beautiful city of Monticello, FL. Founded April 15, 2007, with only five members, (Pastor Eddie Yon, his wife Veronica A. Yon, and three children Veresia, Evan, and Eddie), the church grew at a steady pace in number. Even at its inception, RGCC was effective ministry touching the region by hosting its first major outreach, the Wham Bam School Jam, in August 2007, only four months after launching. At that event, the church gave away more than one hundred fifty (150) backpacks, and school supplies to the region. Today the church continues to host the event annual and now gives out more than six hundred (600) backpacks and school supplies which is a evidence that RGCC continues to touch its city Monticello, Florida and the region in which it occupies.
To function as a Holy Spirit-led, kingdom-driven church focused on Evangelism, Discipleship and the restoration of the whole man through God’s word, thereby impacting the community, region, and world.
“And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them, that they may be one, even as we are one.” -John 17:22 With John 17:22 as this ministry’s foundational scripture, the mission of Restored Glory Christian Center (RGCC) is to preach LIFE, speak LIFE, teach LIFE, and be LIFE to our community by sharing the love of God and the word of God.

Eddie L. Yon is a native of Blountstown, Florida, and the Founder and Senior Pastor of Restored Glory Christian Center, a thriving, community-centered church, located in Monticello, FL.
He is a veteran of the United States Army and holds an A.A. degree in Computer Programming and Analysis from Tallahassee Community College (1994), a B.S. degree in Business Management from the University of Evansville, IN (1998) and a Master's degree in Management Information Systems with a concentration in Information Security from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, FL (2016). He currently serves as the President and Owner of Elyon Technologies, Inc.
Pastor Eddie received his call to ministry on September 7, 1997, and responded by sending faith-filled e-mail messages to friends and family members. Consequently, through those seven people, Elyon Ministries, Inc. (formerly "A Resting Place in Cyberspace") grew to minister to hundreds of subscribers, nationally and internationally. Almost ten years after sending his first message, Pastor Eddie and his wife Veronica were called by the Lord to found Restored Glory Christian Center.
In 2021, Pastor Yon published his first book entitled, "Baby Ethan's Getting Better Everyday." The book chronicles the highs and lows of the Yon family's journey, before and after Baby Ethan receives a “three-day death sentence.” Pastor shares a “framework of faith” that carried him and his family through the days, months, and years to come. It is a message that is sure encourage and strengthen its readers through challenging times. The book can be purchased on Amazon.
In 2023, Pastor Yon published his second book entitled, "The Maker's Dream and the Ol' River's Scheme," a poetic, bible-based journey that will captivate children, teens, and adults alike. The story provides a glimpse of heaven’s original plan for mankind and ends with a practical life lesson which can also be purchased on Amazon and is featured at https://theglorykids.com/
With his practical teachings and awesome computer skills, Pastor Eddie has allowed the Lord to use him mightily to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ. His "Restoring Your Glory" webcasts, and blogs attest to the power of God's word to restore the glory of every believer!
Veronica Adams Yon is an associate professor of English at Florida A&M University, where she teaches composition and literature courses. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English (magna cum laude) from Spelman College, and an M.A. and Ph.D. in English (with a major in African American literature) from Florida State University.
Dr. Yon has accepted the call of God on her life and uses her communication skills to advance the kingdom of God. In addition to proofreading and writing faith-filled messages for Elyon Ministries, she is co-founder of Restored Glory Christian Center (Monticello, FL), where she serves as an elder and worship leader.
Elder Veronica and Pastor Eddie Yon have been married since 1993 and are the parents of four beautiful children: Veresia, Eddie III, Evan, and Ethan
