Destined To Win

Destined To Win 1 Peter 1st Chapter: 19But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: 20Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you…

This week, as Easter approaches, we want to take some time to discuss your salvation. We used the word “your” in the previous sentence simply to place more emphasis on the personal aspect of salvation. Some may see their salvation as a supernatural coincidence rather than an experience planned by God. However, your divine appointment with holiness has been orchestrated and ordained by God with purpose and planning. Let’s get some proof.

Jeremiah 1st Chapter – 4 Then the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, 5Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

Here God tells Jeremiah He knew Jeremiah BEFORE he was even a fetus. So if God knows us before we are born then surely God has plans for us before we are born as well.

Jeremiah 29:11 – For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

God couldn’t think of you without having plans for you. He’s too complete to
leave things undone, halfway finished and incomplete. What you see as unfinished
God has already seen as finished. What you see as impossible and dead-end God
sees as completed and done. The same is true for YOUR salvation. When relatives
saw you as a heathen God saw you as Holy! When friends saw you as defeated God
saw you as divine! Even when the “chuch” folk saw you as a hopeless case God saw
you as His Child!

Your salvation was not an accident, incident or coincidence. It was anointed and
appointed because He had you on His mind before you were even a thought to your
parents. You, child of the Most High God, had a divine appointment to be saved,
sanctified, separated and sparred.

1 Thessalonians 5:9 –  For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,

Now let’s go to our text.

1 Peter 1st Chapter: 19But with the precious
blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: 20Who
verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in
these last times for you…

Out of our text I want to pull one word of confirmation, inspiration and revelation
FOREORDAINED which means to be established or prearranged unalterably beforehand.
This one word out of our scripture tells us that God setup an established, prearranged
a way out of any “bad” way we got in before we got in it. Not only that, but it
was unalterable and nothing in existence spiritual or natural could stop it and
the 20th verse confirms this as well.

20  Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world,

Christ was foreordained to save you before the foundation of the world. Get that
BEFORE the foundation of the world. Well… what is the foundation of the world?
We’ll give you some scripture to show it to you.

Genesis 1st Chapter: 1In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. 6And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters. 7And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.

John 1st Chapter: 1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2The same was in the beginning with God. 3All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

The foundation of the world is, was and always will be the word of God. His, “Let
There Be” made that which was. And before He even said, “Let There Be” your victory
was planned and personalized. Yet, during the process God was sending prophetic
words to confirm what was to be YOUR SALVATION.Your power over the demonic, your
strength in a time of weakness, your peace in the most turbulent times, your deliverance
in the times of darkness, your victory when you feel like you will always be a
victim, your hope when you feel all is hopeless and to top it all your blood covenant
with the God of Heaven and Earth. And all of this was foreordained, unstoppable,
unalterable, unchangeableand irreversible because God planned it and Jesus’ Blood
sealed it.

This Easter know, that you know, that you know….Before anything ever “was” You were destined to win!
